Thank you for your interest in joining the Southern Cherokee Indian Tribe, we are always pleased to see people proud of their native heritage. There are no fee’s to join us, but you must prove your Southern Cherokee lineage. But the rolls are closed at this time.
You must have one of the following:
- An ancestor on Stand Waite’s Mounted Rifles
- An ancestor on the Tompkins Roll of 1867, living in the Canadian or Kooweeskoowee Districts
- Along with one of the two above, you must also be a member of the Southern Cherokee Community
